Paddle and Passport began as a way to share something deeply personal. A love for travel, for connection, and for the energy that pickleball brings to people’s lives. After experiencing how the game creates instant community no matter where it’s played, I saw the opportunity to design something that blends that sense of belonging with thoughtfully planned, beautiful travel.
Rather than trying to reinvent luxury or sport, I wanted to build a space where people could feel genuinely cared for. Where details weren’t overlooked, where people could both push themselves and unwind, and where the environment inspired friendship and growth. This isn’t about flash, it’s about delivering a sense of ease, elegance, and belonging.
Pickleball connects people in a way few things do. I’ve coached on many trips and seen firsthand the impact of bringing people together over a shared interest. Paddle and Passport is a natural next step: an experience where the destination matters, but the people matter even more. I believe in creating something so good, it brings guests back year after year, not out of obligation, but because it becomes something they look forward to as part of their lives.
It’s about offering a new kind of travel experience; purposeful, connected, active, and elevated. Not a production, but something personal and intentional. My goal is to deliver that feeling every time.
My name is Danny Jensen. I’m a professional pickleball player on the PPA Tour, a former Division I athlete, a coach, and a proud father. I played soccer at The Ohio State University, starting all four years before a career-ending injury shifted my path. After completing my degree in business and working in medical sales for a few years, I discovered pickleball, a sport that would eventually change everything for me. Within two years, I was competing full-time on the PPA Tour, the highest level of professional pickleball.
One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been coaching on military bases overseas. I’ve had the privilege of teaching pickleball to service members across over 25 bases in more than 16 countries, including Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, Greenland, Italy, Qatar, and more. Those experiences shaped me in ways I’ll never forget. The people I’ve met and the stories I’ve heard have left a lasting mark. Being able to bring something joyful to those who serve, through a sport I love, has been the most humbling and impactful part of my career so far.
I have coached on trips all over the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, and across the United States, and I’m committed to continuing that work. Travel and teaching go hand-in-hand for me, and Paddle and Passport is a natural extension of both. I’m someone who believes in showing up fully; for my family, for my guests, for every detail of what I build. I love to compete, to connect, to create experiences that matter. Paddle and Passport reflects that. It’s designed to feel authentic, grounded, and truly special. I’m proud of what we’re creating, and I’m grateful for the people who choose to be part of it.
